2. General information on data processing

We process users’ personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services, or where you have given consent. The legal bases are mainly Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interests).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, CA, USA (“Netlify”). Personal data collected on this website, such as IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data or access data, is processed on Netlify’s servers. This is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and efficient provision of the online offering). Netlify is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer to the USA relies on the corresponding adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). Where required, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify. More information: netlify.com/privacy.

4. Server log files

The host automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically:

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the technically error-free presentation and security of the website.

5. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, phone number, requested service and message) to handle your request and for follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Form processing via Netlify Forms: The contact form is processed through the form function of our host, Netlify. Your input is stored there and forwarded to us by email. Data is transferred to the USA in the process (see section 3). By submitting the form and confirming the privacy policy, you agree to the processing of your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time or contact us by email instead.

We delete your enquiry once its purpose has ceased, at the latest six months after processing is completed, unless a contract is concluded or statutory retention obligations apply. This also applies to submissions stored at Netlify.

6. Google Fonts

This website loads fonts (Space Grotesk, Inter) through Google Fonts, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you open the site, your browser connects to Google servers and, among other things, your IP address is transmitted; a transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible.
